Project Brief: Majestic Magazine is a identity and publication concept with a goal of communicating the truly beautiful and "majestic" aspects of the world. This project covered countless different design skills in order to achieve a complete visual identity system.
Process, Experience, and Learning: After setting project goals, creating toneboards, and brainstorming, I created a logo design for the magazine that utilizes a 3-dimensional form of the letter M. The dimension and organic placement of shapes was used to give insight to the type of content inside the magazine. The development of the publication itself included many rounds of iterations and then a final style guide, type hierarchy, and grid structure. All content was thoroughly designed for use in print and digital space.
