Project Brief: Andretti Autosport has been at the top of the racing industry since legendary Mario Andretti began to build his reputation back in the 1960's. While working at Kinetic Vision, I was part of the team that was tasked with designing and developing a completely new website. With this website, the key improvements included social media integration, racer statistics, next race information, news stories, and much more.
Process, Experience, and Learning: Throughout my time on this project, I collaborated with designers, developers, and the client to see this large scale project all the way from start to finish. In addition to my involvement with brainstorming and page design, my specific knowledge helped to bridge the gap between designer and developer, which allowed a much more efficient use of time and more refined solution throughout the entire website. I also learned many new skills and gained experience in GUI design, asset management, post processing, and user-centered design.
